Terms of Service

I open commissions in batches by announcing a batch on social media. The number of images per batch may change with each batch. Each image takes up one slot. If I fill commission slots, I will close commissions until I am ready to reopen, if I so choose. You will not be billed until a slot opens for your image. Only pay according to directions per batch post and direct messages. I am no longer accepting bulk orders. Please limit your commission requests to two images maximum.

NSFW content is OK but I choose commissions and post at my discretion.

I am ok with clients posting images to their social media accounts with credit to me, but I do prefer, if possible, sharing the post I create, as it gives me better exposure. Please make sure to credit me correctly (if the image is NSFW, don't credit my SFW account).

I have a list of subjects I refuse to draw under any circumstances. I reserve the right to refuse any commission I am uncomfortable with creating, even if not applicable to the Will-Not-Draw list. I reserve the right to decline a piece of artwork for any reason or no reason. You will not be billed for work that is declined. Items listed on my Will-Not-Draw list will be declined, at my discretion. Please do not even send reference images including items on my Will-Not-Draw list.

I reserve the right to use art that I create in a personal portfolio as examples of my technical skill and ability. Client retains rights to original characters and may use the work in certain situations to be determined by me. Fees may incur for distribution/copies of artwork beyond original. If client only purchases digital work, only rights to digital copies apply. Client will need to buy rights to physical copies of artwork before printing/distributing/selling the work. Image is not to be used for commercial purposes. Client may reserve copyright of depicted characters only, and not to the artwork itself. You are buying my time, skill, and the creation of an image, not the right to use it or distribute it. That's what commercial purposes means. I reserve the right to be credited for creation of images (with a link to my website/social media/email when available) for every image.

My prices are based on the level of detail and time that it takes me to complete an image. I may adjust the prices for commissions between batches at my discretion (in one batch an image may cost one price, and in a future batch, the price may differ). I charge per character I am hired to illustrate or at my discretion. Additional Character fees, Background fees, Extra Detail fees, and other fees begin at the flat rate of $10 and are subject to my discretion.

I frequently stream artwork on Twitch.tv which allows my clients to view artwork as it is created. This helps me get details right and ensures ideal satisfaction of my clients. I encourage all my clients to watch me stream. I do not offer private streaming of artwork.

Whether you can watch my stream or not, I encourage all my clients to be thoroughly descriptive in order to make sure that I know EXACTLY what to draw. Please do not send me "purple prose" or descriptions that will take a long time to read. Lists and examples are a good idea, but I don't like reading a long essay on your character just to find out what color to make the eyes. Please avoid MRP/TRP and other roleplay character sheets as they are difficult to read and may result in error. Visual references are the best way to ensure I know what you want, but again, please avoid sending imagery of anything on my Will-Not-Draw list.

Revision policy is different for each commission type. The general rule is to ask for revisions AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you wait until the end to ask me to change a pose, that revision will be declined, as that is something that should be asked for at an earlier stage. I send Work-In-Progress images at my discretion. That is the appropriate time to ask. Colors are the easiest thing for me to change. I do not completely start over on an image after a WIP is approved. That's creating two images, not revising one. If you would like an update or a WIP sent, please ask.

Should either one of us decide to cancel the commission at any time, a partial refund will be granted. Refund amount depends on how much work has been done to the image and is subject to my discretion. Appeals for refund amount can be suggested via direct messages.

All work I create will contain a signature. This signature is not to be removed from the image. This is part of retaining credit for image creation. If you use this work for an avatar on social media, please credit me, with a link if possible, in your about/description.

Payment is available through PayPal only, in U.S. Dollars. Other currencies must be converted to the USD price. Client will either provide me with an email linked to the PayPal account with which they intend to pay, or otherwise pay as instructed in the batch post or direct messages, and I will send a product invoice for direct payment. Payment sent to my PayPal outside of invoices will be refunded, if possible, and declined. Payment is accepted in full before any work is completed. By paying you agree to these terms of service. Tips are accepted, and do not count as payment.

I post the commissions I complete on social media, and, if possible, tag or link to the client that commissioned the image. I am OK with being commissioned for someone else as a surprise. If you want me to not post a commission until a certain time in order to keep it secret from the person you want to surprise, please tell me in your inital email. If you would like to remain anonymous please tell me in your initial email. All work may be used in a portfolio for career purposes to demonstrate my skill.
